Tokyo, Japan – Tottenham Hotspur F.C. has announced a partnership with Japanese travel company H.I.S. Co., Ltd., appointing the firm as its official regional partner for Japan until the end of the 2027–28 football season.
Under the agreement, the Premier League club and H.I.S. will collaborate on fan engagement initiatives aimed at Japanese audiences. These include stadium tours and meet-and-greet sessions with players.
The partnership will also extend to matchday-related activities, starting with a watch party in Japan for the upcoming north London derby scheduled for Sunday, 22 February. In April, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host a “Japan Day” during the club’s home match against Brighton, highlighting elements of Japanese culture.
In addition to fan-focused activations, the two parties will work together on sustainability-related educational tours and conferences. These initiatives are aligned with Tottenham Hotspur’s positioning around environmental and social impact within the Premier League.
“This collaboration brings together two brands united through a purpose to provide unbeatable experiences using the global appeal of the Premier League,” said Ryan Norys, chief revenue officer of Tottenham Hotspur. “The partnership is also driven by purpose as we bring our environmental and social impact initiatives to the Japanese market.”
Motoshi Yada, president and CEO of H.I.S. added, “Our mission through this partnership is to ‘bring the world’s passion closer.’ Many football fans dream of one day watching a match in the UK, the home of football. We strive to make that dream a reality for as many people as possible, serving as the gateway to that experience.”
