Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – MBCS has partnered with Pizza Hut Malaysia to launch ‘Ini Rumah Kita’, a nationwide art initiative marking the country’s 68th Independence Day.
The campaign features 68 artists from across Malaysia, ranging from established names to student creators, each illustrating their own interpretation of rumah (home) under Pizza Hut’s red roof. The artworks reflect themes of childhood, culture, and memory, tied together by the idea of unity and shared identity.
Aileen See, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut Malaysia, said, “Pizza Hut has long been part of Malaysia, woven into everyday moments and celebrations. This Merdeka, we’re proud to turn our iconic red roof into a canvas where Malaysians can showcase their unique stories. Ini Rumah Kita is a reminder that while our journeys may differ, we are united by one home — Malaysia.”
Meanwhile, Mun Tuck Wai, executive creative director at MBCS, commented, “In conjunction with Malaysia’s 68 years of Merdeka, we wanted to celebrate what it truly means to live under one roof, a roof that holds our differences, our colours, our stories and weaves them into one. Ini Rumah Kita. Malaysia, this is home.”
As part of the initiative, Pizza Hut has introduced Doodle & Dine, inviting diners to draw their idea of Malaysia’s favourite flavours in outlets nationwide. Customers who share their doodles on social media with the hashtag #pizzahutmalaysia will receive a complimentary Mushroom Soup.
The company has also launched a limited-time Cheesy Curry Pizza, combining curry flavours with its signature crust, along with a series of limited-edition plushies inspired by menu favourites such as garlic bread, pan pizza, spaghetti, and mushroom soup. The plushies will be available in stores starting 16 September for Malaysia Day.
Running from mid-August to mid-September 2025, ‘Ini Rumah Kita’ spans social media, in-store activations, and digital out-of-home billboards along LDP, Sprint, and Federal Highway.
