Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – CelcomDigi Berhad has released a short film titled ‘Dari Mata Kita’ in conjunction with Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia 2025. The film aims to encourage Malaysians to strengthen their sense of connection through everyday stories told from fresh perspectives.
‘Dari Mata Kita’ features moments from 160 towns across all 14 states in Malaysia. It presents scenes of daily life, traditions, and communities, highlighting people and places that are often overlooked. The company said the project represents the widest depiction of Malaysia captured within a single narrative.
According to CelcomDigi, the film underscores the role of connectivity not only as a technological function but also as a means of bridging cultures and amplifying voices from all parts of the country. The stories featured range from urban centres to rural villages.
May Ling Chan, head of brand and marketing services at CelcomDigi, said, “At CelcomDigi, we believe the celebrations of Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia are not only a time to reflect on our past. They are meaningful opportunities to reconnect with the people and places that shape who we are.”
She added, “Dari Mata Kita shows how powerful connection can be when it’s used to inspire Malaysians to rediscover the richness of our nation and to see each other in a new light, and feel more connected to fellow Malaysians, no matter where they are. We believe the spirit of Hari Kebangsaan lives on in the stories we share and the bonds we build.”
The company said it hopes the film will inspire viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the country and with one another during the national celebrations.
