Taiwan – PHD, part of Omnicom Media Group (OMG), has appointed Melissa Chen as general manager of its Taiwan operations, effective immediately.
In this role, Chen will oversee operations, strategy, and capability development, with a focus on driving growth and advancing PHD’s market position.
Chen has more than a decade of experience in brand and marketing leadership across consumer, healthcare, and technology sectors. Most recently, she served as head of marketing at Uber Eats Taiwan, where she helped strengthen the brand’s leadership and expand the on-demand delivery category.
Speaking about her new role, Chen said, “Driving sustainable growth and impact for brands comes from connecting data, insights, and talent in meaningful ways. As AI continues to evolve, human judgement and values will become even more critical to ensure that media and technology serve the real needs of people and communities. Chen will report to Kelly Huang, CEO of OMG Taiwan, and have a dotted reporting line to Eileen Ooi, CEO of PHD APAC.
