Australia — Bulla Dairy Foods (Bulla) has appointed independent creative agency Kerfuffle to lead creative and brand responsibilities across its portfolio, marking a new chapter in the company’s growth and brand evolution strategy.
The partnership will see Kerfuffle work closely with Bulla to strengthen the brand’s position in the market while helping shape its future direction through strategic and creative initiatives.
Founded in 1910, Bulla is one of Australia’s oldest family-owned dairy companies, with six generations of ownership and a portfolio spanning cream, ice cream and cottage cheese products made using locally sourced milk and cream from regional Victoria.
According to Bulla, Kerfuffle was selected for its strong combination of strategic thinking, creativity and collaborative approach, as well as its understanding of the brand’s heritage and future ambitions.
Daria Kargopoltseva, Head of Marketing at Bulla, said, “The team at Kerfuffle brought a really strong mix of strategic thinking, creativity and chemistry throughout the process. They understood both the heritage of the brand and where we want to take it next, challenged us in all the right ways and felt like an extension of our team from day one.”
For Kerfuffle, the appointment presents an opportunity to build on the strong emotional connection many Australians already have with the Bulla brand.
“Bulla is one of those brands Australians know and genuinely love, so we’re incredibly excited to be partnering together. There’s such a rich history and strong connection people feel towards the brand, and we can’t wait to create work that does it justice,” shared Josh Stephens, Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at Kerfuffle.
Kerfuffle’s appointment is effective immediately.
