Jakarta, Indonesia — Cheil Indonesia has appointed Young Min Ha as head of retail marketing for Samsung Mobile, following his tenure at Cheil KSA where he led retail strategy for Samsung Mobile and Consumer Electronics.
In Saudi Arabia, he drove large-scale in-store transformations, fixture innovation and field force programmes that lifted sell-out performance, while managing vendor partnerships, supply chains, incentive schemes and launch campaigns aligned with Samsung’s global retail vision.
A retail marketing specialist with over 15 years of international experience, Young Min has worked across Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia for leading brands including Samsung, LG and Hyundai.
His career spans both brand and agency leadership, with senior roles at Cheil, Innocean, and HS Ad.

In his new role, Young Min will lead retail strategy, in-store innovation and omnichannel shopper engagement, ensuring Samsung’s retail presence in Indonesia sets the benchmark for customer experience and sales.
