Singapore – Redhill and BHM Holdings have announced a strategic partnership aimed at creating a communications corridor between Asia and Africa, bringing together two independent communications groups operating across more than 20 markets.
The partnership connects Redhill, one of the largest independent communications agencies in Asia, with BHM Holdings, an integrated communications group based in Africa. Together, the companies said they will offer clients communications support across regions that collectively represent more than five billion people and several fast-growing economies.
The collaboration will combine the expertise of more than 300 communications professionals working across markets including Singapore, India, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Through the partnership, both firms will provide services including strategic brand and corporate communications, issues and reputation management, media relations, digital marketing, creative services, stakeholder engagement, and government relations.
The companies said the collaboration comes amid increasing trade and investment between Asia and Africa. Businesses expanding across the two regions have often lacked communications partners with strong local presence in both markets.
“This is about much more than a referral arrangement; we are building the infrastructure for a new era of Asia–Africa commerce,” said Jacob Puthenparambil, founder and CEO of Redhill. “As Asian companies expand into Africa and African businesses look to Asia for growth, they need communications partners who truly understand both markets.”
He added, “By combining Redhill’s deep expertise across the Asia-Pacific with BHM’s unmatched strength across the African continent, we are creating one of the most powerful independent communications networks connecting these two regions.”
“Africa’s story is one of extraordinary growth and transformation, and the opportunities for collaboration with Asia have never been greater,” said Ayeni Adekunle, founder and CEO of BHM Holdings. “With Redhill, we have found a partner that shares our ambition, our entrepreneurial spirit, and our commitment to world-class service. Together, we are uniquely positioned to help businesses navigate and succeed across these two dynamic regions.”
Under the agreement, clients of both companies will gain access to each other’s services, market intelligence, and media and stakeholder networks. The firms said sectors expected to benefit from the collaboration include technology, financial services, fast-moving consumer goods, energy, infrastructure, and government relations.
