Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — Red Bull Malaysia has launched ‘Red Bull Next Generation,’ a new regional athlete development platform under TCP Group, aimed at supporting and elevating the next generation of sporting talent across Southeast Asia.
Launching first in Malaysia and Indonesia, the major youth-focused platform is designed to provide emerging athletes with the tools, guidance and visibility needed to progress in their sporting journeys.
“Red Bull Next Generation reflects our long-term commitment to supporting that future by creating opportunities, building visibility and giving emerging athletes access to the kind of support that can help accelerate their journey,” shared Supasita Kraisri, Chief Global Marketing Officer at TCP Group.
“We want this platform to become more than an athlete initiative. We want it to become a platform that inspires ambition, progression and belief across the region,” added Kraisri.
Through the initiative, selected athletes will receive tailored support including mentorship, workshops, media training, financial assistance and content opportunities across Red Bull platforms to help strengthen their performance, expand their profile and unlock new opportunities for growth.
A key component of Red Bull Next Generation is access to expert guidance from industry professionals, including performance specialist Martin Pfeifenberger, who brings more than 20 years of experience working with elite athletes across over 100 sports disciplines, from Formula 1 and Olympic competition to professional team sports.
The platform will also be led by Sigurd Meiche, Program Director for Red Bull Next Generation, whose experience in athlete-focused sports initiatives will help shape the platform’s development across the region.
“Red Bull Next Generation is about finding those athletes early, supporting them at the moment it matters most, and helping them unlock what’s possible both in sport and beyond it,” said Meiche.
Unlike many athlete platforms focused on a specific sport, the platform is also open to talents across a broad range of disciplines, including traditional sports, emerging sports and esports — designed to recognise potential in all forms, while celebrating the diverse sporting communities that continue to grow across Southeast Asia.
“With Malaysia being one of the first markets to lead Red Bull Next Generation, we see this as an important opportunity to shine a spotlight on promising athletes and provide them with greater visibility and opportunities,” said Adelene Tay, Head of Marketing at TCP Red Bull Malaysia.
“At Red Bull Malaysia, we remain committed to building a stronger sporting community for the future, and we are excited to play a role in helping more Malaysian athletes realise their potential,” added Tay.
By combining athlete development, expert mentorship and storytelling, Red Bull Next Generation aims to create a platform that supports the future of sport in the region while inspiring a new generation of athletes to pursue their ambitions with confidence.
