Perplexity joins forces with Cristiano Ronaldo in new era of ‘performance-driven’ AI

California, United States — Perplexity has announced a global partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo, aligning the football icon’s long-standing commitment to discipline, consistency, and reinvention with the AI company’s philosophy of continuous learning. 

Beyond being football’s all-time leading goal scorer, Ronaldo has set records across the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, and the Saudi Pro League, while winning league titles, Champions League trophies, and major honours with Portugal. 

Perplexity says he exemplifies the mindset shared by the world’s best leaders and athletes: a focus on long-term progress, curiosity, and rigorous decision-making.

The company confirmed that Ronaldo is not only a dedicated user but also an investor, relying on Perplexity in high-stakes situations such as award speeches and major announcements. 

Perplexity framed the partnership as extending beyond a traditional sponsorship, positioning trusted AI as a tool increasingly used by top performers to think, prepare, and move from answers to action.

To launch the collaboration, Perplexity has introduced an interactive Cristiano Ronaldo hub featuring rare images, curated questions, career highlights, and stories behind his most iconic goals, with additional content, experiences, and exclusive merchandise planned throughout the partnership.
