As country head, Putri will be working closely with Redhill’s management team and local stakeholders to oversee operational functions and develop new business in Indonesia, strengthening the agency’s presence and expanding its local network.

Putri enters her new role at Redhill with more than ten years of expertise in public relations, advertising, startups, and recruitment in Southeast Asia. Her most recent positions, as Marketing Director of Orbit Future Academy and Director of Orbit Jobs, both with PT Orbit Ventura Indonesia, allowed her to lead product launches in Indonesia while serving as the Head of Marketing at Carro, Southeast Asia’s first automotive unicorn. Earlier in her career, she also held the positions of Head of Marketing at Carro and Director of Orbit Jobs.

Speaking on her own appointment, Putri said that Indonesia is full of amazing opportunities for brands and businesses, which is good for an agency like Redhill.

“Redhill has long been recognised as a trailblazer in the industry, and I’m honoured to join this exceptional team. My goal is to work together to align our visions and take Redhill Indonesia to new heights, revolutionising the industry and exceeding client expectations through strategic innovation, agility and an unwavering commitment to the success of both Redhill and our clients”, she added.

Meanwhile, Manisha Seewal, president of Redhill said “Based on first-hand experience, I’m confident that Windy will be a valuable addition to Redhill. She has a wealth of experience as a communications professional, especially in agile organisations with high growth, and her familiarity with the Indonesian market is unmatched. Indonesia has always been an important market for Redhill and Windy is the perfect person to take our presence here to the next level.”

Singapore – Redhill, the Singapore-headquartered full-service global communications agency, has appointed Manisha Seewal as its president. In this role, Seewal will work closely with Redhill’s management team to oversee and enhance the agency’s business and operational functions, as the company seeks to accelerate its growth sustainably to become a holistic and integrated communications agency.

Seewal first joined Redhill as a senior advisor in November 2022, bringing with her over two decades of senior leadership expertise. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated acute industry expertise in terms of marketing, digital transformation and market expansion. This includes leading various ‘Singapore’s first’ digital transformation projects, such as the country’s first ‘Netflix for Cars’ subscription-based programme and first life insurance chatbot. She was also listed amongst World’s Top 100 In-House Communicators and 100 Most Influential Global Marketing Leaders.

“Having worked with Manisha for the past months, I’m happy to welcome her into her new role as President. Especially during our critical growth juncture, I’m confident that she will further strengthen Redhill’s capabilities in the long term,” said Jacob Puthenparambil, Founder and CEO of Redhill.

Before joining Redhill, Seewal was the chief marketing officer of Gumtree, Carsguide, and Autotrader, where she spearheaded the three brands’ digital transformation of their marketing and editorial functions in Australia. Prior to that, she was the first Group CMO of Southeast Asian car marketplace Carro – where she scaled the company’s marketing team from just three people to over 70-strong across Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Whilst at Carro, Seewal concurrently served as the CEO of Jualo.com, Indonesia’s third-largest e-classified marketplace, which was acquired by Carro. Before joining the startup world, she headed the marketing business of several financial institutions like Tokio Marine, HSBC, and AVIVA.

“With its 200-person formidable team and a vast global presence, Redhill is the world’s second fastest growing PR agency that is ready for the next stage of growth. It is time we connect our new business acquisitions with a strategic lens to unleash Redhill’s potential as a full-stack communications agency. I’m delighted to be a part of this journey, and I look forward to what comes next for the agency’s continued success,” said Seewal.

Seewal’s new appointment coincides with Redhill’s rapid growth. The agency officially entered three new markets recently, namely, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Further to this, the company has also recently inked strategic partnerships with Sri Lanka-based PR Wire and Singapore-based Aroca Consulting Group (ACG) to respectively boost its market presence and competencies in Sri Lanka, as well as its general service offerings in government relations and public affairs.

Singapore – The Singapore-headquartered integrated global communications agency, Redhill, has entered strategic partnerships with PR Wire, a public relations consultancy in Sri Lanka, and Aroca Consulting Group (ACG), a full-service public affairs and business advisory firm from Singapore.

According to the release, these collaborations will enable Redhill to strengthen its market presence and capabilities in Sri Lanka, as well as broaden its offerings in government relations and public affairs. On the other hand, both PR Wire and ACG will gain access to Redhill’s extensive portfolio of communications and storytelling services, along with international expertise and reach from its global network.

“Expanding and strengthening our market presence and service offerings have always been a priority for Redhill, and we are excited to be partnering with PR Wire and ACG. Sri Lanka has always been an important market for Redhill, especially as our Studio team is on the ground there,” said Jacob Puthenparambil, CEO at Redhill.

He added, “Similarly, with our existing relationships within the government sector, it is a natural next step to deepen our expertise in public affairs and policy. Through our partnerships with PR Wire and ACG, who are both leaders in their respective sectors and markets, we are confident to deliver broader, more dynamic services to our collective clients.”

Meanwhile, Ashan Kumar, founder and managing director at PR Wire said that the partnership with Redhill will create opportunities across various markets in the Asia-Pacific to serve clients with a fully integrated communication strategy, focusing on traditional and digital public relations.

“Together, we can solidify our service offerings through a strong global footprint within Singapore, Sri Lanka, and other APAC offices. It is increasingly important to have a globalised approach to PR and communications while maintaining on-ground, local intelligence including buyer behaviour, business and communication strategy and strong media landscape expertise with an authentic network. This partnership offers exactly that, and we are excited to hit the ground running with Redhill,” Kumar added.

Ozan Ibrisim, managing director for Singapore at Aroca Consulting Group, also shared his excitement over the partnership as it will diversify ACG’s service offerings through Redhill’s integrated communications approach and its specialisation in public affairs and government relations.

“Through our collaboration, we look forward to providing clients with the most effective combination of strategies to build a strong social, economic and sustainability case for them to achieve their business objectives. Public affairs and government relations have evolved to require a more collaborative approach with integrated communications, and we are excited to strengthen our capabilities to provide the best service to clients,” he said.

Previously, Redhill has also entered a partnership with Geylang International Football Club (GIFC) to drive women’s football in Singapore.

Singapore – Global communications agency Redhill has teamed up with the Geylang International Football Club (GIFC) to drive women’s football in Singapore by boosting its visibility in the country and highlighting the players and their achievements, as well as promoting a positive image of the sport.

Through this partnership, Redhill will provide sponsorship in addition to strategic communications support to help promote the Women’s Premier League team, its talented players within GIFC, and to connect with a wider audience.

We believe this partnership will help us to raise the profile of women’s football in Singapore and encourage more women to take up the sport.”

Redhill has recently ventured into supporting programmes and strengthening their offerings. In December 2022, the agency launched Redhill Lancers, a programme aimed at supporting early-stage startups. It has also acquired VS Story in September 2022 to bolster the agency’s sustainability offerings.

Singapore – Redhill, the Singapore-headquartered global communications agency, has added a fresh offering to its roster of integrated communications services. The agency has announced today the addition of an end-to-end book publishing service.

The agency, which also unveiled a new metaverse offering months back, said it will be providing in-depth, long-form storytelling options in conventional hardcover or paperback formats through the new solution.

Ranging from planning, writing, editing to formatting, and publishing to marketing, Redhill said the suite of book publishing services has been exclusively designed to serve clients’ editorial requirements.

“It is with great happiness and excitement that we announce the launch of Redhill Publishing. Our strategic focus has been on consistently developing and advancing our offerings to provide end-to-end integrated communication solutions to meet our [ever-evolving] business environment,” commented Jacob Puthenparambil, founder and CEO of Redhill

Under Redhill Publishing, clients will be offered services across all phases of the editorial and publishing processes. The goal is to provide hands-on editorial and marketing counsel and then lead the way to branding.

Redhill said it has a wide team of content writers, creative designers, and developers who are experts in producing high-quality content in various formats across a number of book genres including biographies, autobiographies, memoirs, informative, business, fiction, nonfiction, and ghost-writing services.

Jacqui Hocking, managing director of Studio at Redhill, and founder of newly-acquired VS Story, said, “We are a story-driven communications firm. With our newly expanded Integrated Creative Studio, through the recent acquisition of VS Story and with the launch of this new publishing offering, we can now provide our partners and clients with a one-stop solution.”

“Our Studio team has creatives across the world, specialising in integrated creative and technology solutions; from content creation, video storytelling, branding, web development, and design. We are thrilled to introduce our clients to our expanded capabilities, as part of our mission to reach targeted audiences with data-driven, impactful, and creative storytelling.”

Redhill has, in fact, published its first book under the new publishing arm. Called Nasib Baik: A Person of Good Fortune, the autobiography tells the story of George Sandosham, a distinguished legal personality in Singapore with a career spanning over three decades. The book details the author’s storied personal and professional lives, from being a lawyer and a magistrate to becoming president of Singapore’s exclusive Tanglin Club.

In a continued momentum of growth, Redhill has also recently brought in marketer and ex-CARRO Manisha Seewal to be its senior international advisor.

Singapore – Global communications agency Redhill has launched its Redhill Lancers Programme, which aims to help with the growth of high-potential, early-stage companies that recognise the importance of public relations and marketing.

Through the program, Redhill will be providing 360-degree communications support to early and growth-stage startups to help them raise investor capital, network with strategic partners, and create sustainable businesses.

The agency will also make strategic investments in companies that focus on solving real-world problems and those with significant growth potential.

Ten selected startups will be given access to Redhill’s full suite of PR and marketing services including communications strategy, media relations, social media, video production, web development, content and research, design and branding, digital marketing, crisis communications, government affairs, and event management.

Applicants are now invited to share proposals and will be evaluated for their investment, business strategy, and growth potential.

Speaking on the programme’s inspiration, Jacob Puthenparambil, CEO of Redhill, said, “Many early-stage Startups focus a lot on their product and customers that they tend to overlook the communications aspect of the business. For customers and investors to trust them they need to have some level of credibility, and this is where PR plays a pivotal role in helping Startups build their brands and reputations to boost awareness, build credibility, and attract key stakeholders.”

He added, “Through the Redhill Lancers programme, our aim is to help nurture high-potential early-stage companies to navigate their growth journeys and to scale up quickly and sustainably through access to our global partner ecosystem and advisory from Redhill’s executive leadership.”

Redhill also previously launched its metaverse offering in collaboration with US-based enterprise metaverse platform Pixel Canvas.

Seewal most recently comes from Australia, helming the marketing of Gumtree Australia, CarsGuide and Autotrader; and was most notably the CMO of SEA car marketplace, CARRO

Seewal will be closely working with Redhill CEO Jacob Puthenparambil. She will be taking primary responsibility for driving the agency’s operational performance, scaling its international presence, and activating additional growth opportunities.

“Redhill has accelerated its growth organically and through acquisitions over the past few years. Manisha’s role will help build on our momentum. She is a seasoned operational leader with deep experience in the marketing and digital transformation space in the Southeast Asia and Australia region,” said Puthenparambil.

Seewal brings with her over two decades of marketing experience in advertising, banking, insurtech, startups, and e-classifieds across the APAC region. As CMO of Gumtree Australia, CarsGuide and Autotrader, she led the digital transformation of all three brands’ marketing and editorial functions in Australia.

These include Singapore’s first ‘Netflix for Cars’, a car subscription-based service; Singapore’s first life insurer chatbot, and Singapore’s first pay-as-you-drive insurance service.

“I am delighted to join the Redhill team at a pivotal time in the company’s international growth. With several recent acquisitions, new service offerings, industry partnerships and a highly experienced core team, we have a strong foundation in place as we write the next chapter of our growth. I look forward to imparting my knowledge of the industry to help take the company to greater heights,” commented Seewal.

Puthenparambil added, “She’s [well-positioned] to help the company execute on our international expansion plans while driving operational improvements. I am delighted to welcome Manisha to our team.”

Redhill has been ramping up its growth in the past year with a slew of new team hires and a couple of acquisitions such as video production company VS Story.

For MARKETECH APAC’s Empowered Women series this 2021, Seewal was one of the women marketing leaders who sat down with us to share her leadership story and insights.

In the conversation, she shared about the bias that is still ever-present for leaders like her in male-dominated spaces such as the automotive.

“I think that’s the main reason why we need more women to join the industry so we can start changing the narrative,” Seewal said.
