Manila, Philippines – After six years of leading as Home Credit Philippines’ Chief Marketing Officer, veteran marketer and media professional Sheila Paul has officially announced her exit from the company.
In a LinkedIn post, Sheila penned, “It’s hard to fully capture what this chapter has meant. When I joined the company amidst the uncertainty of 2020, I didn’t expect how much of a “home” I would find within the dynamic and fast-paced fintech industry at the heart of a market leader. “
During her time, she spearheaded local radio partnerships to produce ‘Payo Para Sa Life’ (Advice For Life) financial literacy program, as well as launching the ‘Para sa Life’ (For Life) campaign. In 2024, the company also jumped into producing viral short-form content with the launch of the ‘Home Credit Transition Trend’ campaign.
Her post also read, “I take immense pride in what we accomplished together, from shaping the brand to growing a strong and passionate marketing team. In many ways, we were able [to] contribute to advancing financial inclusion in the country.
Before her stint at Home Credit, Sheila previously served as the Regional Vice President for Marketing at HOOQ and Vice President for Head of New Media for TV5.
As for her immediate future, Sheila indicated entering a period of reflection, “I’m taking this time to reflect and reset,” she noted, while also expressing appreciation for the outpouring of support from colleagues. “I’m especially grateful to have worked with so many talented individuals and to have been part of their growth and leadership journeys.”
