Australia – Rachel Gatehouse, CEO of influencer marketing platform Vamp, has announced her departure from the company, reflecting on her experience and growth during their time with the organisation.
In a LinkedIn post, Rachel shared that they had made the “tough call” to move on from Vamp, noting that their time at the company provided continuous learning opportunities and the chance to work with a highly capable team.
“Yesterday, I made the tough call to move on from Vamp. Every day here pushed me to learn and grow – thanks to being surrounded by truly exceptional people,” the post read.
She also highlighted how her time at the company deepened her interest in technology and product development. According to the post, working alongside designers, builders, and other collaborators helped her develop new skills and perspectives.
“At Vamp I got to learn new skills, deepening my love of tech and product. Huge thanks to the designers, builders, and muse who shared their wisdom so generously – you made it a joy to grow alongside you,” Rachel added.
Looking ahead, she said that they intend to continue working within the venture capital and technology ecosystem, where they are particularly interested in the balance between rapid innovation and careful execution.
“I’ve found my happy place in VC and tech. I love the tension between speed and thoughtful execution: too fast, and you burn cash; too slow, and you fall behind. The trick is knowing when to push, when to pause, and how to build something people actually need (and will pay for!),” the post stated.
Founded in Australia, Vamp operates as a global influencer marketing platform that connects brands with creators and manages end-to-end campaigns across social media. The company has worked with brands across industries to help scale creator-led marketing strategies, particularly in markets across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the United States.
