Indonesia – After seven years at the helm of marketing and operations excellence, Mayank Singh has exited Domino’s Pizza Indonesia.
Singh announced his departure in a LinkedIn post, where he reflected on his tenure at the pizza chain and the experiences he accumulated during his time with the brand.
“Today, I sign off from Domino’s Pizza Indonesia—and from the world of pizzas—not as a resignation, but as a retirement from a chapter that shaped me profoundly,” he wrote.
During his seven-year tenure, Singh served as chief marketing officer and head of operations excellence, overseeing marketing, digital, new product development, creative, digital technology, customer service, and data insights. His remit focused on driving growth, innovation, and a digital-first transformation across the business.
In his role leading operations excellence, Singh was responsible for food safety, standard operating procedures, audits, operations training, customer experience, and overall operational performance, with a focus on ensuring consistency and scalability across Domino’s Indonesia’s store network.
According to Singh, the two roles were designed to bridge brand building and operational discipline, aligning culture, strategy, and execution as the company pursued market leadership in Indonesia.
“When I joined in 2018, the road ahead was anything but easy. What followed were years of building, breaking, fixing, scaling, arguing, laughing, celebrating, and showing up—again and again,” he reflected.
Singh played a key role in steering the business through multiple challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, lockdowns, supply chain disruptions, inflationary pressures, and periods of public criticism and boycotts.
“…year after year, the team delivered—not because it was comfortable, but because it mattered,” he added.
He also expressed gratitude to the leadership team, colleagues on the ground, and partners he worked with throughout his tenure.
In his closing remarks, Singh wrote, “Today, Domino’s Indonesia stands strong, stable, resilient, and ready for its next orbit. That gives me peace as I step away…My chapter here closes, but the journey of learning and building continues—with new adventures ahead.”
