Singapore – Global sportswear company PUMA has entered into a new multi-year global partnership with McLaren Racing, beginning in 2026, covering team kit, replica wear and lifestyle apparel across the racing organisation’s portfolio.
The partnership brings together the two brands across multiple championships, including the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren Racing’s entries in F1 Academy, the McLaren F1 Sim Racing Team, and from 2027, the McLaren United AS WEC Hypercar Team.
Under the agreement, PUMA will design and supply team kit and apparel focused on performance and fan engagement. The collaboration also includes replica and lifestyle collections aimed at extending the McLaren Racing brand beyond the track.
Arthur Hoeld, CEO of PUMA, said, “At PUMA, we are very proud of our long and successful history in motorsports and having worked with some of the greatest drivers and teams in the industry over the past decades. It is a great honour to write the next chapter by welcoming McLaren Racing, the 2025 Constructors’ and Drivers’ Champions, as our new partners. We are looking forward to many successful races together and engaging with the team’s passionate fans around the world to create inspiring collections for them that show the best both brands have to offer.”
The Replica Collection is designed around McLaren Racing’s signature papaya colour and reflects the official apparel worn by drivers and team members at race events. According to the companies, the collection is intended to allow fans to mirror the team’s on-track look.
In parallel, a Lifestyle Collection has been developed for everyday wear, drawing inspiration from McLaren Racing’s motorsport heritage. The range blends historic design cues with contemporary streetwear silhouettes and modern styling.
The partnership will also extend to fan-focused activations and experiences beyond race weekends. These include special events and limited-edition releases aimed at connecting fans with the team’s identity, combining PUMA’s sportswear innovation with McLaren Racing’s competitive legacy. The first fan experience is scheduled to debut at the opening race of the Formula 1 season in Australia, with additional details to be announced.
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, commented, “Our sport is in incredible shape and it’s been fantastic to see an influx of major fashion and lifestyle brands who are looking for deep and meaningful ways to engage with our growing global fanbase. I cannot think of a better partner than sportswear giant PUMA to help us supercharge our portfolio of fan wear. We know fans want to express their passion for our sport both at and away from track, and PUMA’s innovative approach to design and culture will offer exciting collections and experiences worldwide.”
The PUMA x McLaren Racing Lifestyle Collection launched in Singapore on 20 January, with the Replica Collection set to be released from 2 February.
