Indonesia – OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Go in Indonesia, marking the country as the second market after India to receive the new low-cost subscription plan.
ChatGPT Go offers users a cheaper alternative to the existing paid tier while expanding access to features such as GPT-5, image generation, file uploads, advanced data analysis, and longer memory for personalised responses. It also includes access to projects, tasks, and custom GPTs.
The plan is priced at Rp75,000 per month in Indonesia.
Nick Turley, vice president and head of ChatGPT, announced the launch on social media, noting Indonesia’s position as one of ChatGPT’s top five markets by weekly active users. “It’s exciting to see the rapid adoption of AI in Indonesia,” he wrote on X.
Turley added that global ChatGPT subscriptions have more than doubled since the Go plan was first introduced in India last month, with affordability cited as a key driver of uptake.
