Cetaphil takes skin expertise closer to Filipinos with ‘Derm On Tour’ initiative

Manila, Philippines – Cetaphil Philippines has launched ‘Cetaphil SkinLabs: Derm On Tour’, a nationwide initiative aimed at expanding access to dermatologist-backed skincare guidance across Filipino communities.

The programme builds on the brand’s “Cetaphil SkinLabs” platform introduced in 2025, which focused on science-led and immersive skincare education. The new initiative also seeks to extend this approach beyond centralised events by bringing dermatological expertise closer to the public, with the launch event signalling a broader effort to promote dermatological education and encourage individuals to better understand their skin.

“Sensitive skin is more common than many people think, yet access to expert skincare guidance isn’t always easy,” said Cetaphil business unit head Mark Joseph Sarmiento during the launch. “Derm On Tour is our way of bringing dermatological expertise closer to Filipino communities—so people can better understand their skin and make informed decisions about skincare.”

During the event, board-certified dermatologists and paediatric experts participated in discussions on sensitive skin and appropriate skincare routines. Attendees were able to visit interactive stations and receive complimentary consultations, providing an opportunity to gain insights into their individual skin concerns.

Moreover, experts at the event also highlighted the effects of environmental and lifestyle factors—including pollution, blue light exposure, stress, and lack of sleep—on skin health, particularly among individuals with sensitive skin.

The initiative maintains Cetaphil’s focus on clinically tested skincare solutions designed to be effective while remaining suitable for sensitive skin.

The launch event also featured several local personalities, including Anne Curtis, Catriona Gray, Donny Pangilinan, Atasha Muhlach, Kaila Estrada, and Cassy Legaspi, who shared their personal skincare experiences and routines.

According to the company, these efforts form part of its wider advocacy campaign, #ForEveryonesSensitiveSkin, which aims to promote inclusivity and accessibility in skincare through science-based education.
