Publicis Groupe introduces PDX in India, with Amaresh Godbole appointed CEO

Mumbai, India — Publicis Groupe India has announced the launch of Publicis Digital Experience (PDX), a new unified offering focused on customer experience, social, and CRM services, as well as AI-driven transformation.

According to the company, PDX is designed to address what it describes as “middle-funnel and after-funnel” priorities for chief marketing officers and chief information officers, spanning areas including customer experience, commerce, social, martech, CRM, and AI-enabled solutions. The new unit consolidates Publicis Groupe’s digital, technology, and experience capabilities in India into a single organisation.

The PDX model is also structured around three core solution practices: Social @PDX, AI-X @PDX, and CRM @PDX. These cover social and content-related services, AI-powered customer experience and commerce platforms, and CRM and data-led customer engagement solutions. The model also includes a central Technology Centre of Excellence, which is intended to support best practices across emerging technologies and AI.

Additionally, PDX integrates teams and capabilities from Digitas India, Razorfish India, and Indigo Consulting. Publicis Groupe also said the new organisation brings together more than 500 specialists and builds on work delivered across more than 1,000 projects.

Leading PDX, Amaresh Godbole has been appointed chief executive officer and chief for AI experiences and solutions at Publicis Groupe India.

He said, “We’re entering a world of technology haves and have-nots. Clients are no longer looking for fragmented services, they need partners who can turn AI and technology into a competitive edge across the middle and after funnel.”

Amaresh added, “PDX is built precisely for that moment. We’ve taken proven capabilities, applied scale thinking, and redesigned them for an AI-first future.”

Anupriya Acharya, CEO, Publicis Groupe South Asia, also added, “Marketing and technology have converged, expanding the remit of both the CMO and CIO. PDX re-architects how digital, technology, data and creativity work together to meet this transformation moment. As marketers reimagine the future, PDX is built to help accelerate it.”
