Manila, Philippines – McCann Philippines has announced the promotion of Mitzie Lim-Nacianceno to Chief Executive Officer and Bambi Reyes to Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 May.
The appointments were confirmed by McCann Philippines Chairman Raul Castro, who said the leadership transition reflects a long-term succession plan developed within the agency.
“If you have worked with McCann, you have already worked with its next leaders,” Castro said.
Lim-Nacianceno and Reyes have both spent their careers within McCann Philippines, progressing through senior leadership roles after years working across key client accounts and agency operations.
Castro said, “McCann has always been about the long game-in the work we do for clients and in how we build the agency from within. Mitzie and Bambi didn’t just rise through the ranks, but they have also helped define what those ranks mean. I have full confidence that under their leadership, McCann Philippines will not just sustain what we’ve built, but it will also build something even greater,“ says Raul Castro, Chairman, McCann Philippines.”
Lim-Nacianceno has led client relationships across major accounts, including San Miguel, Jollibee, Nestlé, and Unilab, and has overseen the agency’s transition towards integrated campaign development.
She said, “I didn’t just grow up in this agency-this agency shaped how I think about brands, about people, and about what great work actually means. What changes now is the speed and scale at which we can act on it. We have the right clients, the right people, and now the right structure to do the most meaningful work of McCann’s history. That’s not a boast, it’s an obligation.”
Meanwhile, Reyes has led the development of McCann Philippines’ specialist operating model and has overseen account growth and regional expansion projects across Asia-Pacific.
Reyes shared, “The best operations don’t feel like operations, they feel like momentum. When teams have the clarity and the room to do their best work, the results follow. My job is to make sure nothing stands between our people and that.”
The agency said its focus under the new leadership will remain on brand building, supported by its “Truth to Impact” operating framework, which links creative output to business outcomes. It also plans to further develop its digital-first capabilities, with an emphasis on integrated, platform-native, and always-on content.
Moreover, Castro will remain as Chairman. He said: “The industry is changing faster than it ever has, and that’s exactly why this moment matters. Mitzie and Bambi understand where things are going, not just for McCann, but also for the brands we serve. I am genuinely excited about what the next 10 years look like with them at the helm,” quips Castro.
McCann Philippines said the leadership change is intended to ensure continuity for existing clients while supporting future growth opportunities.
Founded in 1963, McCann Philippines has worked with brands including Coca-Cola, Del Monte, and Nestlé Espresso since its early years, and has since expanded its client portfolio to include companies such as San Miguel Brewery, Globe Telecom, Jollibee, BPI, Philippine Airlines, and Unilever.
Over the decades, the agency has produced a number of notable campaigns, including San Miguel’s “Iba ang may pinagsamahan”, Sprite’s “Magpakatotoo ka”, Globe Handyphone campaigns, Biogesic’s “Ingat”, Coca-Cola’s “Beat Game”, and the “Kwentong Jollibee” series.
