Mumbai, India — HSBC India has launched a new campaign featuring Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan to showcase its enhanced HSBC Premier proposition, aiming to address the evolving needs of affluent and internationally mobile Indians.

Centred around a 60-second commercial film, the campaign highlights the upgraded HSBC Premier offering that focuses on four key customer priorities: wealth, health, travel, and international services.

Through the film, HSBC seeks to position Premier as a comprehensive service that supports customers in managing their finances, well-being, and global lifestyle.

The enhancements include features such as expert wealth management, exclusive health and wellness privileges, seamless international banking, and travel-related benefits. The campaign also aims to demonstrate how these elements combine to deliver an experience that surpasses the conventional premium banking experience.

Sandeep Batra, head of international wealth and premier banking, HSBC India, said, “Our campaign celebrates the aspirations and journeys of affluent, internationally minded Indians. These individuals seek a balance between accelerating their wealth and prioritising their health and well-being.”

Sandeep also added that the enhancements position HSBC India to help customers grow, protect, and enjoy their wealth for generations to come.

“HSBC Premier is more than just a bank account—it’s a trusted partner that supports our customers at every stage of their journey…This campaign reinforces our commitment to being the preferred international financial partner for affluent Indians,” shared Sandeep.

In the campaign film, Kareena Kapoor Khan is portrayed balancing various facets of her life as an actor, mother, traveller, and fitness enthusiast, while reflecting on the need for a banking partner that matches her dynamic lifestyle.

Sharing her thoughts on the partnership, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, “I’m thrilled to partner with HSBC India for enhanced Premier, which truly resonates with the evolving aspirations of today’s globally connected Indians. As someone who juggles multiple roles—be it as an actor, a mother, or a traveller—I understand the importance of having a trusted partner that goes beyond the ordinary.”

The film also features Kapoor questioning why her bank account should be “just a bank account” when her life encompasses so much more.

She added, “This association beautifully captures the essence of what it means to have a partner for someone like me that understands your dynamic lifestyle and helps you achieve your goals, no matter where life takes you.”

HSBC introduced its Premier banking services in India 25 years ago and has continued to evolve them to serve affluent and high-net-worth customers in India and abroad. The latest enhancements are positioned as part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to meet the aspirations of a new generation of globally minded Indian customers.
