Indonesia – Hakuhodo International Indonesia (HIID) has appointed Daisuke Yanaoka as its new Country Director and Group COO, as the company seeks to strengthen organisational synergy and accelerate its ongoing transformation.
Yanaoka previously served as President Director of H3, one of HIID’s operating companies, where he led client management initiatives and oversaw team development.
He succeeds Yuzuru Iguchi, who will transition to other market responsibilities within the organisation.
Commenting on his new role, Yanaoka said, “I look forward to driving deeper integration across all HIID companies to fully harness our collective synergies. By seamlessly uniting our creative and technological capabilities, we will deliver even more relevant and impactful solutions for our clients.”
HIID is also advancing its ambition to become a creative technology company, expanding its AI-driven capabilities through initiatives such as Virtual Sei-katsu-sha, which can be applied across marketing strategy, product development, organisational design and ideation. The tool is designed to improve marketing efficiency, support more agile decision-making and strengthen brand experiences.
“Over the past year, we have laid the foundation and expanded our specialities,” said Devi Attamimi, Group CEO of HIID. “This next step is about strengthening how we move forward together with clearer focus, faster execution, and deeper integration to support our clients’ growth.”
Naoyuki Kawakita, Hakuhodo Inc. ASEAN Regional COO added, “Indonesia is a key market in our ASEAN strategy. The synergy between Yanaoka’s new leadership and Devi Attamimi’s expertise gives me full confidence that they will rapidly propel Hakuhodo to new heights in this market. We are certain that HIID will expand its impact and deliver exceptional value to our clients throughout the region.”
Separately, HIID has introduced a new visual identity launched by Hakuhodo Headquarters in Tokyo. The updated identity reflects a more dynamic organisation, with an emphasis on creativity in motion, flexibility and openness, as well as a continued focus on client growth.
The rebrand also signals the company’s intent to evolve with changing market conditions, encourage experimentation and reinforce its relevance in a shifting business environment.
Irfan Ramli, Chairman of HIID, said, “This transformation reflects our long-term commitment to building a stronger, more future-ready organisation. By strengthening our leadership and evolving how we work, we are positioning HIID to create greater value for our clients and partners.”
