Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam— Hakuhodo Inc. has acquired a majority stake in BCM Venture Integrated Co. Ltd., a Vietnamese independent digital marketing agency, making BCM a consolidated subsidiary of the Japanese advertising group.
BCM provides digital marketing services, including e-commerce management, data analytics, creative and content production, digital media planning and buying, as well as website and application development and UI/UX design. The agency serves both Japanese and local companies operating in Vietnam.
Hakuhodo said the acquisition would strengthen its digital capabilities in Vietnam, where companies are increasingly pursuing digital transformation, including expansion into e-commerce and the development of websites and applications.
BCM will join Hakuhodo’s “New One Vietnam” network, which is intended to support closer coordination within the group as it expands its business in the country.
