Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Garmin has launched its ‘Women of Endurance’ campaign, an initiative that reframes endurance—commonly associated with athletes—through the everyday experiences of mothers.
The campaign aims to spotlight the physical and mental demands women face while managing multiple roles in daily life, drawing parallels between these sustained efforts and high-intensity “invisible training.” Through illustrations and health data insights, the initiative highlights how routine parenting activities can mirror the exertion levels often associated with athletic performance.

To bring the concept to life visually, Garmin partnered with Taiwanese artist Chouyi, whose work focuses on experimental comics and illustrations. Her artworks portray everyday scenarios of motherhood—such as carrying children, climbing stairs, or managing household responsibilities—as moments of endurance similar to athletic training.
The campaign also incorporates data from Garmin wearables to illustrate measurable indicators of fatigue. Using metrics such as Heart Rate Variability (HRV), stress levels, and sleep quality, Garmin’s devices calculate a “Body Battery” score ranging from 0 to 100, which reflects a user’s energy levels. According to the company, the feature helps make invisible fatigue more visible and allows users to better understand when to rest and recover.
Garmin notes that the exhaustion mothers experience in daily life often accumulates as chronic “invisible fatigue,” which can be difficult to quantify and is therefore frequently overlooked. Research cited in the campaign indicates that although women report fatigue more often than men, their exhaustion is often underestimated by others.

Alongside the campaign, Garmin has also outlined several approaches for women to better manage recovery using wearable data. These include identifying fragmented sleep patterns, monitoring stress trends, tracking recovery through HRV changes, observing dietary impacts through lifestyle logging features, and incorporating intentional active rest.
As part of the initiative, Garmin will host a community event titled ‘Women of Endurance – Here’s to Her’ on 24 May 2026 at PARC in Subang, Malaysia. The wellness-focused gathering will feature activities designed for mothers and children, including a beginner 2km walk or run session, a kid-friendly mat Pilates class, and a process painting workshop.
Participation will be available through sign-up with limited slots, with additional details to be announced on Garmin Malaysia’s Instagram page.
Through the ‘Women of Endurance’ campaign, Garmin encourages women, particularly mothers, to become more aware of their physical well-being by recognising signs of energy depletion and prioritising recovery.
