CapitaLand Investment launches digital rewards hub ‘CapitaPlus’ in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – CapitaLand Investment (CLI), a global real asset manager, has launched CapitaPlus, a digital multi-rewards and engagement platform aimed at enhancing the shopping experience across its Malaysian malls. The platform went live on 3 October 2025.

According to CLI, CapitaPlus combines shopping, rewards, and redemptions in a single mobile-friendly platform. It allows shoppers to connect physical and digital experiences when visiting CapitaLand malls in Malaysia.

The launch coincides with the CapitaLand Group’s 25th anniversary. Since its formation in 2000, the group has focused on digital transformation to improve operational efficiency and the retail experience for both shoppers and tenants.

Selina Ng, managing director at CapitaLand Investment (Malaysia), said, “Providing a seamless retail experience is essential to connecting our shoppers with our retailers. CapitaPlus brings this vision to life, reflecting CLI’s agility in adopting a digital-first approach that not only elevates the customer journey but also adds value for our retail partners and fosters a sustainable retail ecosystem. Accessible anytime, anywhere via its dedicated website and mobile-friendly interface, CapitaPlus delivers a seamless and engaging experience for shoppers on the go.”

From October, shoppers can register for free, shop at participating CapitaLand malls, and upload receipts to earn rewards such as e-vouchers and exclusive promotions. Over the coming months, additional features will be introduced, including automated lucky draw entries, enhanced privileges for Kids’ Club members and tourists, as well as parking and cash rebates. CLI stated that the move to digital redemptions supports its sustainability goals by reducing paper usage.

For tenants, CapitaPlus is designed as a tool to drive engagement and sales through e-vouchers, targeted campaigns, and data insights. CLI said the platform helps transform traditional tenant relationships into more data-driven partnerships.

To mark the launch, CLI is running a campaign from 3 October to 2 November 2025, offering shoppers who register for CapitaPlus the chance to win an AirAsia ASEAN Explorer Pass, which provides unlimited flights across ASEAN for one year. The top seven spenders at each participating mall will be selected as winners.
