Indonesia – Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) has entered a partnership with FC Barcelona to become the club’s official commercial banking partner in Indonesia through December 31, 2027.
Under the two-season agreement, BRI will roll out a co-branded debit card and related branding assets, including the use of men’s first-team player imagery. The partnership will also be supported by a mix of online and offline fan engagement initiatives led by the bank.
Planned activities include opportunities for selected customers to travel to Barcelona, attend match days at the Spotify Camp Nou, visit the Barça Immersive Museum, and access discounts on Culers Premium Membership, among other benefits.
The collaboration comes as FC Barcelona continues to expand its presence in Indonesia, one of its largest fan markets in Asia-Pacific, with the partnership expected to support deeper engagement with local fans beyond match-related activities.
Manel del Río, managing director at FC Barcelona, shared, “It is a pleasure to welcome Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) as a new partner of FC Barcelona. Asia Pacific is a strategic region for the Club, where we have a broad global fan base with whom we continuously seek to generate synergies and strengthen our connection. Through some of its products, this partnership will continue to promote the FC Barcelona brand worldwide and connect in a relevant way with new audiences in the country.”
Aquarius Rudianto, director of network and retail funding at BRI, added, “FC Barcelona has a massive fan base in Indonesia, which BRI sees as a potential to build stronger relationships with our customers. Through this collaboration with FC Barcelona, we aim to inspire the public to carry the spirit of champions in every financial step they take. Moving forward, BRI will continue to build strategic partnerships aligned with the preferences and aspirations of the community.”
