Manila, Philippines – Swift Mighty Meaty Hotdogs is leaning into Filipino pop culture nostalgia with its latest campaign, bringing together some of Angelica Panganiban’s most memorable on-screen characters in a playful multiverse-inspired spot created by indie agency Leron Leron Sinta.
Titled ‘Method Acting,’ the campaign reunites fan-favourite characters portrayed by Panganiban—including Claudia Buenavista from Pangako Sa ‘Yo (2015), Stell Suarez from Beauty in a Bottle (2014), and Stef from Here Comes the Bride (2010)—to reinforce the brand’s “Siksik, Sulit, at Sarap” (SikSuRap) message.
The campaign marks Swift Mighty Meaty Hotdogs’ latest brand push, blending nostalgia with humour to appeal to both longtime fans of the brand and younger audiences familiar with Panganiban through memes and viral pop culture moments.
According to JC Garcia, Copywriter at Leron Leron Sinta, the campaign was designed to balance familiarity with contemporary relevance.
“Swift wanted something campy, fun, and relatable while keeping their core message intact. We knew we needed someone who grew up with the brand for nostalgia, but can still speak to today’s younger crowd—and as a former child star and pop culture icon, Angge was the perfect fit,” Garcia said.
He added that each character was selected to represent a different product proposition.
“Her ‘Angge Multiverse’ characters seamlessly bring the brand promises to life: Madam Claudia for classic Swift-Sarap, Stell for our protein-packed ‘kembak’, and Stef for our Sulit sa Dami promo!”
Leron Leron Sinta also hinted that the “Angge Multiverse” will continue beyond the launch film, teasing more content across its social media channels.
