Singapore – Mutant, has been appointed to handle communications for the Singapore Tennis Open (STO) 2026 and HSBC SVNS Singapore 2027, a leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series.
Both appointments come through The Kallang, extending Mutant’s existing relationship with the venue operator.
The agency previously worked on STO in 2024 and on HSBC SVNS Singapore in 2023.
The wins follow Mutant’s recent expansion into MICE and live events capabilities, and add to a growing sports and live events portfolio for the agency.
“Singapore is punching above its weight as a destination for world-class sporting events, and we’re proud to be part of what makes them land well,” said Lina Marican, Regional Managing Director at Mutant.
“We’re grateful for the continued trust from The Kallang team,” said Marican. “It reflects the strength of our team and our ability to deliver impact on the ground.”
Pui Leng Low, Head of Communications at The Kallang, said the appointment reflects Mutant’s track record on past projects.
“Mutant has consistently delivered with clarity, speed and a strong understanding of what these events require, both on the ground and in-market,” said Low.
“We’re pleased to continue the partnership as we scale our event portfolio,” added Low.
The Singapore Tennis Open and HSBC SVNS Singapore are among the city-state’s most high-profile international sporting events, drawing global broadcast attention and sponsor interest each year.
