Singapore – McDonald’s Singapore has partnered with local snack brand Old Chang Kee for a National Day collaboration that celebrates Singapore’s longstanding love for curry through a co-created limited-time menu.
The partnership marks the first collaboration between the two brands, bringing together McDonald’s signature offerings and Old Chang Kee’s heritage in curry flavours to create a menu inspired by one of Singapore’s most recognisable tastes.
“For Singapore’s 61st Birthday, we wanted to celebrate that love for curry in a way that feels uniquely Singaporean,” said Drina Chee, Senior Director, Marketing and Digital Customer Experience at McDonald’s Singapore.

At the centre of the collaboration are two co-developed burgers—the Curry Potato Chicken Burger and the Rendang Curry Beef Burger—alongside Curry McShaker Fries.
Chow Hui Shien, deputy chief executive officer at Old Chang Kee Group, added, “Together, we’ve brought the distinct curry expertise of both brands into a true co-creation, creating a fresh new curry flavour in a new format.”

According to the brands, the collaboration was built around curry’s role in Singapore’s food culture, aiming to reinterpret a familiar local flavour through McDonald’s menu while drawing on Old Chang Kee’s decades of experience with curry-based products.
In support of the campaign, McDonald’s will also bring back its Curry Sauce Bottles in four collectible designs, alongside exclusive merchandise including an insulated lunch bag and a matching charm available through its MyM Rewards programme.
The collaboration will roll out in phases throughout July, with menu items and collectibles launching on selected dates across McDonald’s restaurants in Singapore for a limited period.
