Singapore – South Korean burger chain Lotteria has opened its first Singapore outlet at Jewel Changi Airport, officially welcoming diners from 11 February.
The outlet is operated by Katrina Group Ltd. in partnership with Lotteria’s South Korean parent company, Lotte GRS Co., Ltd.
Located beside the Jewel Rain Vortex, the restaurant features a bright, open layout in line with neighbouring outlets.
Founded in 1979, Lotteria is known for its Korean-style burgers, varied menu, and localised seasonal offerings, and operates more than 1,600 stores across seven countries.
The Singapore launch represents a key milestone in both Lotteria’s and Katrina Group’s expansion strategy in Southeast Asia.
Katrina Group, a prominent F&B and hospitality company in Singapore, has leveraged its local market experience to introduce the international fast-food brand, reflecting the group’s focus on bringing high-quality, dynamic dining experiences to the city-state.
The partnership with Lotteria underscores Katrina Group’s strategy of expanding its portfolio through collaborations with established global brands.
Regionally, Lotteria has already outlined its growth plans in Malaysia through a master franchise agreement with Serai Group, with ambitions to open 30 outlets over five years.
The brand also launched its first U.S. outlet in Orange County, California, last year, highlighting its broader international expansion approach and reliance on localised partnerships to accelerate market entry.
The Singapore debut, together with ongoing plans in Malaysia and the U.S., positions Lotteria as a fast-growing Korean fast-food chain in global markets, while reinforcing Katrina Group’s role as a key enabler of international dining concepts in Singapore.
