New Delhi, India – Samsung, in partnership with Cheil India, have teamed up this International E-waste Day to launch ‘E-Mutant,’ an awareness-powered digital film that brings the problem of electronic waste to life—literally.
The film unfolds inside an ordinary home where forgotten gadgets begin to stir.
Old electronics fuse into a haunting creature made from cast-off technology: a computer monitor for a face, wires for arms, and a transistor for a heart.
The eerie being, called the “E-Mutant”, symbolises the hidden danger of neglected devices gathering dust in homes.
With its bold visuals and gripping story, E-Mutant sparks an urgent reminder that e-waste is not just clutter—it is a growing environmental threat.
The campaign encourages people to recycle responsibly and “defeat the mutant” by clearing out unused electronics before they become part of the problem.
Through this haunting yet hopeful message, Cheil India and Samsung shine a light on sustainability, proving that awareness can be as electrifying as innovation itself.
