Singapore – The future Audi F1 Team has signed a multi-year partnership with adidas, making the German sportswear giant its official apparel partner as it prepares to enter Formula 1 in 2026.
The agreement will see adidas design and produce a full range of high-performance gear for the team’s drivers, mechanics, engineers and trackside staff.
Set for release ahead of the 2026 season, the collection combines functional innovation with Audi’s design philosophy of clarity and precision.
Alongside technical equipment, adidas will also develop a global lifestyle line of apparel, footwear and accessories, allowing fans to show their support for the team even before its first race.
“Audi and adidas have decades of collaboration in top-level sports–built on shared values and the desire to inspire through performance,” said Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG and chairman of the board of directors of Sauber Motorsport AG.
Both brands said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to performance, design and cultural impact within and beyond motorsport.
“Our partnership in Formula 1 combines the strengths and visions of two progressive brands. The upcoming adidas collection will be characterised by clarity and precision, just like Audi’s new design philosophy, Döllner emphasised.
Meanwhile, adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden described the tie-up as an “exciting new chapter in motorsport.”
“Bringing together the iconic four rings and our three stripes to the 2026 paddock showcases our focus on collaborating with brands rooted in shared beliefs and innovative perspectives, on and off the track,” he added.
The Audi F1 Team will make its grid debut in 2026, with the adidas partnership expected to play a key role in shaping both its competitive identity and its fan-facing presence.
Future Audi F1 Team principal Jonathan Wheatley said the partnership is central to the team’s preparations for its debut: “With adidas, we’re equipping our people with elite technical sporting gear that enhances performance where it matters most.”
“Beyond racing, we share a commitment to making an impact off the track through innovation, style and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” Wheatley concluded.
The future Audi F1 Team has also recently announced their landmark title partnership with global fintech leader Revolut, set to begin next year venturing Revolut into its first major foray into motorsport sponsorship.
