Lazada, POP MART team up to deliver O2O experiences for SEA collectors

Singapore — Aiming to connect regional content creators, art collectors and expand event reach, Lazada sealed a partnership with POP MART, as they bring  together POP TOY SHOW (PTS) Singapore 2025, which was held from August 22-24 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

As part of the partnership, Lazada launched its inaugural regional Super Brand Day (SBD) for POP MART, with over 40,000 expected visitors. The event also introduced new intellectual property (IP) series, including Twinkle Twinkle and SKULLPANDA, as well as timed releases of popular IPs like The Monsters and Crybaby.

The SBD will offer shoppers storewide discounts of up to 8% and exclusive, limited-edition gifts with purchase, such as a Hirono badge and a Crybaby notebook as long as supplies last. 

The event will be hosted on POP MART’s LazMall store, with staggered launch dates across Southeast Asia beginning August 22 in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, followed by the Philippines on August 27, and Vietnam on August 28.

Commenting on the partnership, a Lazada spokesperson shared, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with POP MART once more, this time as an e-commerce platform partner for the POP TOY SHOW. This partnership allows us to combine Lazada’s e-commerce strength with the creativity of the art toy community.”

This partnership highlights Singapore’s growing influence as a hub for pop culture. The city is serving as the exclusive host for the only POP TOY SHOW outside of China in 2025 and 2026, a result of a three-year deal between POP MART and the Singapore Tourism Board.

“By making exclusive IP releases and experiences more accessible, we hope to connect even more fans in Singapore and across the region to this growing cultural movement. The ongoing Lazada Runs across different Southeast Asia markets have also been hugely successful, engaging audiences and blending fitness and pop culture in a highly localised and authentic way,” the Lazada spokesperson added.

In addition to the online promotions, the event will feature a lineup of 19 POP MART designers and international artists such as ClogTwo, GRAPE BRAIN®, Liunic, MonKiddo, Po Yun Wang, Tara McPherson, and Tik Ka.
