Indonesia’s marketing and advertising landscape is undergoing a dynamic transformation, shaped by rapid digital adoption, shifting consumer behaviour, and a growing appetite for innovation.

As Southeast Asia’s largest economy with a digitally savvy population of over 270 million, the archipelago presents unique opportunities—and challenges—for brands looking to make an impact. From the rise of hyper-localised content and influencer-driven campaigns to the increasing integration of AI and data analytics, the industry is evolving at an unprecedented pace.

This evolution in the industry is what MARKETECH APAC recently highlighted in its recently-concluded What’s NEXT in Marketing: Indonesia 2025, which brought together industry leaders to exchange ideas, spark innovation, and explore the future of marketing in Indonesia.

For the morning part of the conference, the sessions focused on topics such as social media marketing, customer experience, and artificial intelligence–with discussions ranging from reinventing omnichannel to strengthen customer connections to how AI is shaping the future of communications and marketing.
