Singapore – Zendesk has named Bikram Mazumdar as Vice President, Asia. Based in Singapore, Mazumdar will lead the company’s growth and go-to-market strategy across South East Asia, North Asia, Korea, and India.
He will be reporting to Mitch Young, Senior Vice President, APAC, Zendesk.
Mazumdar brings extensive expertise in customer experience (CX), employee experience (EX), and AI platforms, having held leadership roles at Yellow.ai, Sprinklr, Oracle, and IBM.
Throughout his career, he has consistently built high-performing teams and expanded enterprise footprints across APAC and EMEA.
“Asia is a complex, diverse, and rapidly evolving region that remains a cornerstone of our global expansion strategy,” Young said.
He further added, “Bikram’s deep expertise in conversational AI and his proven track record of scaling enterprise business in these markets make him the ideal leader to ignite our growth here. His appointment will be instrumental as we help more organisations in the region transition to AI-powered service models.”
The appointment comes amid accelerating AI adoption across the region, with many organisations moving from pilot programs to full-scale deployment.
