Indonesia – WPP Media welcomed Mohit Sharma as new president of clients solutions aiming to deliver impactful strategies and growth in Indonesia’s dynamic digital landscape.
Ahead of WPP presidency, Sharma led under the Beauty Tech Lab of L’Oreal, Samsung, Sasa and Konimex, as well as formerly leading as partner head of Digital & E-commerce of Mediacom Indonesia, ahead of being its general manager for over three years.
He also worked with over 220+ team members in media planning, performance, e-commerce, and influencer marketing with previous roles consisting of serving as senior business director for Essence and MEC, and also took part as YCO at GroupM back in 2014.
WPP Media had also recently secured appointment as Mastercard’s new global media agency, responsible for strategy, planning and buying in a $180 million dollar move value. This comes after Mastercard ended its decade-long relationship with Dentsu’s Carat, marking a huge shift in its media approach.
Through this, WPP Media would be mainly responsible to oversee Mastercard’s media operations across 70 international markets, alongside providing services such as data and technology consulting, media management and delivery, and connected commerce.
