Twitter honours empowered women across SEA with #SheInspiresMe campaign

Manila, Philippines – In honour and commemoration of the International Women’s Day 2022 (#IWD2022), Twitter’s Southeast Asia-wide #SheInspiresMe campaign is returning to promote the unique and influential voices of women who inspire people in their communities to break the bias and ’Own it;. International Women’s Day is a global celebration of women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements, which aims to help forge a gender-equal world.

People use Twitter to engage and discuss their various passions and interests, such as NFTs, music, and gaming. Now more than ever, women are using Twitter to bring more focus on significant issues like women’s equality in the workplace and in society, which the #SheInspiresMe campaign would like to give the spotlight by featuring women who inspire and empower like-minded people in their communities.

Everyone has their own female role models and people they look up to. During the #IWD2022 commemoration month, anybody can join the #SheInspiresMe initiative to share and amplify inspiration. Users can follow Twitter’s #IWD2022 Lists to connect with inspiring women.
