New Delhi, India — Ahead of the annual Big Billion Days sale, marketing agency SW Network has collaborated with Flipkart to launch a nationwide pre-event campaign aimed at promoting Flipkart’s ‘iPhone Season’.
The campaign aims to reinforce its reputation as a trusted destination for purchasing iPhones in India.
According to the agency, the campaign leverages what it describes as a “cultural truth” with the idea that consumers across India are relying on Flipkart for iPhone deals during the festive shopping period. This notion also served as the creative foundation for the promotional effort.
Additionally, the campaign featured a series of exaggerated yet relatable comparisons designed to illustrate the volume of iPhones reportedly sold during the previous Big Billion Days. Metrics such as daily ridership on the Delhi Metro, the number of annual flight departures, and traffic congestion on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway were all referenced as being lower than the volume of iPhone sales, according to campaign creatives.
Moreover, a major part of the rollout included billboard installations at high-traffic locations such as Rajiv Chowk Metro Station, Mumbai Airport, and along the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway.
In addition to outdoor advertising, Cricketer Virender Sehwag and actor Archana Puran Singh also appeared in promotional videos, bringing what SW Network described as “humour, authority and entertainment value” to the campaign.
“iPhone Season on Flipkart’s Big Billion Days has become more than just a sale; it is a cultural moment,” said Raghav Bagai, co-founder of SW Network.
“From iconic billboards to trusted voices like Virender Sehwag and Archana Puran Singh, our goal was to spark nationwide chatter and make iPhone Season impossible to miss,” Raghav added.Ahead of this campaign, Flipkart also featured renowned mathematician Dr. R.D. Sharma for the same annual Big Billion Days sale.
