Pos Malaysia unveils special stamp campaign to support Visit Malaysia 2026 tourism drive

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — Pos Malaysia Berhad is supporting the nationwide Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) tourism campaign with the launch of a special commemorative stamp collection designed to showcase the country’s cultural diversity, iconic destinations and national heritage.

The campaign-led stamp series aims to capture the spirit of ‘Malaysia, Truly Asia,’ using philately as a platform to promote the country’s attractions while encouraging both local and international travellers to explore ahead of the highly anticipated Visit Malaysia 2026 national tourism initiative.

Launched in collaboration with Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), the special edition collection highlights the VM2026 campaign’s core themes of unity, diversity and cultural richness through a series of destination-inspired designs from across the country.

The stamp collection features some of Malaysia’s most recognisable landmarks, cultural symbols and natural attractions, including Gua Kelam (Perlis), Langkawi Island (Kedah), Penang Hill (Penang), Wau Bulan (Kelantan), Terengganu State Museum (Terengganu), Cameron Highlands (Pahang), the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan (Perak), Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad and the Petronas Twin Towers (Kuala Lumpur), Bukit Melawati (Selangor), the Old Palace of Seri Menanti (Negeri Sembilan), A’ Famosa (Melaka), Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque (Johor), the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly and Rhinoceros Hornbill (Sarawak), as well as Sigah and the Proboscis Monkey (Sabah).

As part of the campaign, Pos Malaysia is rolling out a nationwide activation that allows visitors to collect a special VM2026 stamp at selected post offices, turning postcards, journals and stamp passports into personalised souvenirs while encouraging greater engagement with Malaysia’s destinations and cultural stories.

Adding to the campaign experience, the miniature sheet features Wira and Manja, the official mascots of Visit Malaysia 2026, inspired by the endangered Malayan Sun Bear, reinforcing the campaign’s focus on Malaysia’s biodiversity and commitment to wildlife conservation.

To enhance collectability, the stamp issue incorporates premium design features including die-cut elements, heart-shaped perforations and spot UV finishing, transforming the collection into both a tourism keepsake and commemorative item.

“This special  stamp issue is more than a collectible — it is a meaningful way for us to share Malaysia’s story with the world. Each design captures the richness of our heritage, the diversity of our culture, and  the unique experiences that define our nation,” said Fiona Liao, Group Chief Marketing Officer at Pos Malaysia.

“Through our extensive network, we are proud to  support Visit Malaysia 2026 by connecting people and places, and by bringing Malaysia closer to  the global community,” added Liao.

The Visit Malaysia 2026 stamp collection and related philatelic products are available nationwide from 8 June through 90 Philatelic Bureaus nationwide, including 13 General Post Offfices, and Pos Malaysia’s online store while stocks last.
