Singapore – TBWA\Group Singapore has appointed Mandy Wong as chief executive officer, elevating her from her role as president as she takes on the mandate to lead the agency’s next phase of growth.
Wong’s promotion recognises her long-standing contribution to the agency and her leadership in driving sustained growth, creative excellence, and organisational stability during a period of global industry transformation.
With more than two decades at TBWA, she has played a central role in shaping the agency’s strategic direction and building trusted client partnerships.
Since becoming President of TBWA\Group Singapore in 2022, Wong has accelerated the agency’s growth, securing major new business wins including Mandai Wildlife Group and the Health Promotion Board, while strengthening long-term relationships with clients such as Singapore Airlines and Spotify.
In her new role, Wong will oversee the group’s overall business strategy and operations, while continuing to champion TBWA’s Disruption philosophy across strategy, creativity, innovation, and client-business impact.
Sean Donovan, president of Omnicom Advertising Asia, said, “Mandy has been instrumental in shaping TBWA\Singapore into the agency it is today. Her leadership, clarity of vision, and deep understanding of both our clients and our people make her the right person to lead the agency into its next chapter.”
Reflecting on her appointment, Wong said, “It’s a privilege to step into the role of CEO at a time when our industry is undergoing fundamental change. My focus is on leading with intention, strengthening collaboration across the group, supporting our people through transition, and ensuring we continue to deliver work that is both relevant and meaningful for our clients.”
Her elevation comes amid a broader Omnicom network realignment in Singapore, where the creative portfolio will be streamlined into two networks, TBWA and McCann.
As part of this shift, talent from DDB will integrate into TBWA\Group Singapore under Wong’s leadership, joining TBWA and BBDO within the group to further strengthen the agency’s creative capabilities and talent depth.
