Australia – Comms Declare, the climate communications charity, has launched a new brand and digital offering as it expands its mission beyond advertising to include media and clients.
Originally established as a pledge for agencies to refuse fossil fuel clients, Comms Declare has since grown into a prominent advocate for ethical and climate-conscious practices across the industry. The rebrand, developed by creative agency Paper Moose, marks the organisation’s fifth year and updates its visual and verbal identity to reflect that evolution.

Paper Moose collaborated with Comms Declare to refine its purpose, mission, values, and proposition, producing a simpler and more inclusive brand voice.
Kenn Huang, head of design at Paper Moose, said, “It’s inspiring to work with a brand so dedicated to positive change. Drawing on Mondrian, I aimed for a clean, essential design. The ‘d’ uses negative space as a nod to nature and our region. Some see a baby kiwi, echidna, or leaf. The lowercase form keeps the logo honest, inclusive, and approachable, just like the brand.”

Meanwhile, fellow B Corp agency Silver Lining supported the rollout by building the Clean Directory for the new website—a tool designed to connect businesses with fossil fuel-free partners and strengthen ethical supply chains.
Belinda Noble, Comms Declare founder, said, “We’re choosing momentum over perfection, with a new pledge for members and offerings for media and clients. The economy is under massive transformation, and the smart communicators are switching sides to clean solutions now.”
