Singapore – The holidays are about to get a lot fluffier as CapitaLand welcomes Southeast Asia’s first-ever Mofusand Holidays, transforming 17 malls into a ‘kawaii’ Christmas wonderland starring Japan’s beloved chubby cats.
The festive takeover began with a surprise appearance at CQ @ Clarke Quay, where an 8-metre-tall Meow Donut inflatable made its grand debut alongside 25 adorable Mofusand cats.
The spectacle marks the start of a trail of pop-ups, with two more surprise appearances set last October 25 and 29 at CapitaLand malls—keeping fans on their toes and their cameras ready.
The teaser trail leads to the official launch of Mofusand Holidays at CapitaLand Malls on November 5.
Each mall will showcase whimsical themes such as Board Shark, Fruit Meow, and Coffee & Donuts, inviting visitors to wander through vibrant displays where cats surf, snack, and sip their way through the season.
Adding a delicious twist, Mofusand’s first Japanese F&B collaboration outside Japan launches with Sushi Tei, featuring limited-time dishes inspired by the iconic characters.
Exclusive Mofusand pop-up stores will also offer plushies, accessories, and festive collectibles.
Fans can earn bonus STAR$ and festive surprises through the CapitaStar app, while following @CapitaLandMallsSG on social media for clues, updates, and fur-tastic rewards.
