India – Omnichannel media agency Assembly has named Alap Ghosh as its first chief executive officer for India. The appointment is effective today, August 1.
Stepping into his new role, Ghosh brings his expertise to integrate Assembly’s media business in Mumbai and Bangalore. He will focus on establishing a unified offering across media, creative, technology, and commerce.
Ghosh has over 25 years of experience in handling marketing for digital-first businesses. He joins the agency from Google India, where he led data and technology partnerships. During his stint, he was responsible for marketing technology and digital innovation for Google’s clients.
Before joining Google, he also held leadership roles at Jellyfish and founded his own data consultancy.
His expertise and strategic vision are set to enhance Assembly’s operations. With Ghosh’s leadership, Assembly aims to boost its growth by creating omnichannel experiences across the region.
