Singapore – Assembly, a global omnichannel media agency under Stagwell, has named Sharon Soh as its managing director, Southeast Asia (SEA). The appointment is effective immediately, with Soh reporting to Richard Brosgill, Assembly’s APAC CEO.

In her new role, Soh is set to focus on embedding Assembly’s strategy into its approach to market development while unlocking business opportunities and providing tailored solutions to SEA clients. She aims to enhance clients’ experience in the region, combining local insights with global excellence.

Soh joins Assembly from IPG Mediabrands, where she served as chief design officer. She has experience across sectors like FMCG, automotive, retail, and finance. Her market understanding highlights her capability in strategic planning and spearheading business growth.

Through the appointment, Assembly is strengthening its growth strategy, complementing its established leadership in Greater China, North Asia, and Southeast Asia.

China – Global omnichannel media agency Assembly has appointed Karen Ho as its first managing director for Greater China, reinforcing its commitment to expanding in the region and driving client growth. 

In this newly created role, Ho will drive Assembly’s growth in Greater China, supporting clients operating or investing in the region. She will lead initiatives to advance product development, talent acquisition, and technology innovation across the agency’s offices in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, ensuring they are positioned to maximise client impact.

Additionally, Ho will enhance cross-market collaboration and develop integrated solutions to support clients’ local and global ambitions. She will also oversee key client relationships, including Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, APM Monaco, Clarins, and American Eagle Outfitters.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Ho has a proven track record of driving growth and delivering results. At Initiative China, she led market expansion for major clients like Volkswagen Group China, Bridgestone, and GM Ultium, earning the agency multiple industry awards, including Agency of the Year. Her expertise in team building and performance-driven leadership positions her to steer Assembly’s next phase of growth.

South Korea – Global omnichannel media agency Assembly has announced the promotion of Vivian Mok to senior vice president and managing director for North Asia, where she will drive the agency’s strategic expansion and growth in the region.

Mok has been with Assembly since 2018, previously serving as General Manager in Korea. During her tenure, she played a key role in driving the agency’s growth by reimagining its services to better align with local market needs.

Under Mok’s leadership, Assembly Korea has evolved from a performance-focused agency into a data- and tech-driven, omnichannel powerhouse, now staffed by nearly 100 marketing professionals and offering a broad range of services, including media and business consultancy.

In her expanded role, Mok will spearhead the agency’s strategic growth and expansion across Korea and Japan, reporting directly to Richard Brosgill, CEO of Assembly APAC.

Mok’s appointment comes as Assembly’s North Asia region aims to make significant strides in the market and strengthen its proposition to drive growth and innovation for clients and brands.

In this newly established role, Heathfield will be instrumental in driving the integration of creative and strategic media solutions to deliver true brand performance for clients. 

His appointment reinforces Assembly’s commitment to delivering transformative results for brands such as Lenovo, Marina Bay Sands, and Nike. Heathfield is based in Singapore and will report to Assembly APAC CEO Richard Brosgill.

Heathfield brings over 16 years of industry experience to the agency, having excelled in strategic and client leadership roles across Asia prior to joining Assembly. He has a history of groundbreaking work, including the Volkswagen ‘Deep Fake’ campaign in China, and he served as global brand marketing lead at HP in California, where he spearheaded branding and growth initiatives for HP’s gaming division.
