Bangkok, Thailand – Travel platform Agoda has partnered with the Hat Yai Songkhla Hotels Association for a new campaign spotlighting Hat Yai in southern Thailand. Titled “Hat Yai Lights Up”, the campaign will run until 2 March.
The campaign offers travellers discounts alongside a travel guide highlighting key attractions in the city, including food streets, night markets, scenic viewpoints, and temples. A dedicated landing page also features a range of accommodation options available to visitors.
“The ‘Hat Yai Lights Up’ campaign demonstrates the city’s readiness to welcome visitors again. Local hotels and businesses have come together to open their doors with confidence,” said Sitthipong Sitthiphataraprabha, president of Hat Yai Songkhla Hotels Association. “Working with Agoda offers the perfect opportunity to connect Hat Yai with travelers from around the world who are looking for their next adventure.”
The campaign comes as Hat Yai continues to recover from severe flooding that affected the city last December.
“Through ‘Hat Yai Lights Up’, Agoda is proud to support the city’s momentum after its recovery from floods by making it easier for travelers to reconnect with Hat Yai and experience the wonders that make this region a must-visit destination once more,” added Akaporn Rodkong, country director of Thailand and Indochina at Agoda.
Beyond the campaign, Agoda has also supported Hat Yai’s flood recovery efforts through donations and funding initiatives.
