Singapore – Digital travel platform Agoda and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) have launched the fifth edition of Eco Deals, marking five years of partnership and conservation efforts that support wildlife protection and the preservation of critical habitats across Asia.
The 2026 programme continues Agoda’s highest funding commitment to date, with US$1.5 million allocated to support conservation initiatives across 10 Asian markets. It will kick off with a month-long campaign offering travellers discounts of up to 20% at participating properties to mark the programme’s fifth anniversary before transitioning to a year-round offering with savings of up to 15% until 18 December.
Travellers can identify participating accommodations through dedicated programme pages and on-site identification features across Agoda’s platforms. As in previous editions, Agoda will donate US$1 to WWF’s conservation efforts for every completed booking made at a participating hotel.
This year’s launch also coincides with the signing of a new five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), strengthening the partnership between Agoda and WWF to advance conservation initiatives, raise traveller awareness, and encourage industry engagement in sustainable tourism throughout Asia.
“Eco Deals reflects five years of collaboration with WWF to support conservation efforts to protect Asia’s most remarkable destinations, alongside a growing network of accommodation partners,” said Andrew Smith, senior vice president of supply at Agoda.
He added, “The signing of a new five-year MoU with WWF is a testament to our shared vision and action for long-term conservation and industry collaboration…what’s most rewarding is seeing how Eco Deals has become a platform for hotels to differentiate themselves, connect with sustainability‑minded travellers and contribute to meaningful conservation work across Asia.”
Eco Deals allows accommodation partners to support conservation across the region, helping protect natural environments and biodiversity. In 2025, the programme scaled to nearly 10,000 participating properties. Since its launch in 2022, Eco Deals has raised US$2.89 million for conservation projects, including efforts to protect the Malayan tiger in Malaysia, safeguard Asian elephants in Thailand, and conserve whale sharks in the Philippines. These initiatives contribute to the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework ’30×30′ goal, which aims to place 30% of the world’s land and oceans under effective protection by 2030.
Participating partners receive the Eco Deals badge to signal their commitment to conservation, alongside marketing support across Agoda’s platforms, including banner promotions, customer communications, social media features, and in-app discovery. Dedicated programme pages on Agoda’s desktop and mobile platforms also highlight participating properties, helping travellers find accommodations that contribute to conservation. At the conclusion of the programme, partners receive a certificate recognising their involvement.
Hsieh Fu Hua, chairman of WWF-Singapore, said, “Nature is a source of wonder and a vital lifeline for communities and wildlife. Eco Deals shows how the tourism industry can actively contribute to nature-positive outcomes while creating value for travellers and destinations alike. By working across markets and a broad network of stakeholders, this partnership helps link local conservation priorities with regional coordination to protect nature today and for future generations.”
