United States – Disney has launched its 2025 global holiday campaign, “Make Someone’s Holiday Magic,” celebrating the joy of giving and connection during the festive season.
The campaign begins with “A Disney Holiday Short: Best Christmas Ever,” directed by Academy Award winner Taika Waititi, now available on Disney+.
It tells the story of a little girl whose doodle comes to life on Christmas Day, voiced by Disney Legend John Goodman.
“What makes this story uniquely Disney is the fact that it’s set in the world of a kid. It’s a kid and her new best friend, navigating the complex world together, and doing it just with the power of friendship and imagination,” said Waititi.
Disney will also embark on a Holiday Magic Tour to more than 20 cities worldwide, featuring donations, community activities, and surprise events for children and families.
The initiative will be amplified through Disney’s media networks, including Good Morning America and Dancing with the Stars.
“For generations, Disney has been part of how families celebrate the holidays—through the impact we have in communities, the stories we share, and the lifelong memories we help create that bring people together,” said Joanna Balikian, senior vice president, brand management at Disney.
The campaign also continues Disney’s 75-year collaboration with the Marine Toys for Tots programme, founded by Walt Disney, to deliver toys to children in need.
Donations can be made online or at Disney Stores and Resorts through December 2025.
Complementing the campaign, Disney Consumer Products has introduced Unleash the Holidays with Stitch, featuring gifts and merchandise from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.
The initiative reinforces Disney’s commitment to spreading joy across platforms, from storytelling to community giving.
