Mumbai, India— Watertec India has appointed PHD India, part of the Omnicom Media Group, to oversee its integrated media mandate following a competitive multi-agency pitch.
Under the new partnership, PHD India will manage Watertec’s media strategy, planning, and buying from its Mumbai office. The agency is also expected to implement a full-funnel marketing and media approach, designed to enhance Watertec’s brand visibility and support its growth objectives.
Mathew Job, executive chairman at Watertec India, shared that their partnership with PHD shall help sharpen their marketing and media approach.

Founded in 1997 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Watertec pioneered the use of engineering polymers in bath fittings in India. Over nearly three decades, the company has expanded its portfolio to include polymer bathware, pipes and fittings, CP fittings, and sanitaryware. It currently operates 34 branches nationwide, works with more than 34,000 channel partners, and manufactures over 40 million units annually.
The appointment signals Watertec’s intention to consolidate its marketing and media efforts under a single agency, aligning with its broader goal to scale operations and enhance its national presence in the plumbing and bathroom solutions market.
