Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) has taken off with a world-first digital partnership, joining forces with Adobe, Google, Skyscanner, and Visa to rechart how travellers search, book, and experience their journeys.
“This is far more than a collaboration—it is a quantum leap in creating a truly frictionless online travel experience,” said Clarence Lee, group chief digital & IT Officer of MAG.
The partnership ceremony was recently held during MATTA Fair 2025 wherein senior leaders from each partner presented their own expertise to redefine the future of travel.
“By partnering with global leaders such as Google, Skyscanner, Adobe and Visa, we are building the digital backbone that will make every MAG journey more seamless, personalised and rewarding for customers worldwide—transforming how they discover, interact with and book their travel,” Lee added.
Adobe will pilot the personalisation tools for Malaysia Airlines; Google will integrate the airlines’ search optimisation; Skyscanner will support the presence across digital platforms, and; Visa will spearhead the innovative payment solutions aspect.
Dersenish Aresandiran, chief commercial officer of airlines at MAG, added, “This partnership is not only about strengthening MAG’s digital edge, but also about transforming the entire customer journey–from inspiration to booking and beyond.”
“By collaborating with these global leaders, we are setting a new benchmark for how airlines engage with travellers, driving more personalised experiences, greater convenience, and new opportunities to reward our customers,” Aresandiran added.
By boarding this alliance, MAG is charting a new digital flight path where every journey begins the moment inspiration takes wing—seamless, intelligent and rewarding from take-off to landing.
