Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Tropicana Twister has concluded the second edition of its Ramadan campaign, ‘Gandakan Kebaikan’ (Multiply the Goodness), which this year focused on mobilising public participation to support the construction of homes for underserved communities in Malaysia.
The campaign, developed and executed by THE SHOUT GROUP, supported EPIC Homes and its Project 100 initiative, which aims to provide housing assistance to underprivileged families, including Orang Asli communities.
According to the organisers, the campaign encouraged Malaysians to log everyday acts of kindness through a digital activation platform, with contributions collectively helping to fund housing projects. The initiative reportedly generated almost seven times more contributions compared to last year’s edition.
Syahriza Badron, Managing Director of THE SHOUT GROUP, said, “From the start, we wanted to create something simple but meaningful for Ramadan. Through Gandakan Kebaikan or ‘Multiply the Goodness’, we connected everyday actions to a larger purpose – allowing people to see how small acts, when combined, can bring real change to communities in need.”
John-Son Oei, Founder and Chief Epic Officer of EPIC Homes, said, “At EPIC, our efforts go way beyond building houses. We empower communities by improving their living conditions, with development projects like water systems, play spaces for children and even small businesses.”
Jennifer Lee, Head of Marketing at PepsiCo Malaysia Beverages, said the campaign helped raise RM200,000 for EPIC Homes’ Project 100 initiative.
“It has truly been an honour to support this mission for good. At Tropicana Twister, we believe in creating campaigns that go beyond engagement to deliver real impact. Working with THE SHOUT GROUP, what started as a simple mission to do good grew into a larger-than-life, nationwide movement, helping raise RM200,000 for EPIC Homes’ Project 100,” she said.
The campaign marks the second consecutive year that Tropicana Twister has run the Ramadan initiative, with organisers positioning it as part of broader efforts to combine community participation with social impact initiatives.
