Indonesia – Eurofragance, the Spanish-headquartered multinational fragrance house, has launched its first Creative Center in Indonesia, aiming to boost its innovation capabilities and expand its footprint across the Asia Pacific region.
The facility, located in South Jakarta’s Arkadia Green Park, represents a €1 million investment (approximately IDR 19.27 billion) and will serve as a regional hub for co-creation, formulation, and collaboration across fine fragrance, home, and personal care categories.
Joining Eurofragance’s network of Creative Centers in Barcelona, Dubai, Mexico, India, and Singapore, the Jakarta centre is equipped with perfumery, evaluation, and application facilities to bring technical and creative expertise closer to customers in Indonesia and the region.
Spanning 770 m², the centre operates under PT. Euronindo Fragance Internusa integrates proprietary technologies such as EuroCaps™ for long-lasting scent delivery and EuroPure™ for odour neutralisation. The facility also adopts eco-conscious practices, from renewable raw materials to energy-efficient operations.
Beyond product development, the centre will function as a training and talent hub, supporting skills development in Indonesia’s growing fragrance industry. Teams of perfumers, evaluators, and applications experts will work with marketing and sales specialists to translate consumer insights into localised scent solutions.
The company shared that the launch comes amid rapid growth in Indonesia’s fragrance market, driven by rising consumer sophistication and demand for locally inspired scents. Industry forecasts project Southeast Asia’s fragrance sector to grow at a CAGR of over 3% through 2030, with Indonesia among the region’s fastest-growing markets.
“Indonesia sits at the heart of Southeast Asia’s fragrance landscape, a market brimming with creativity, cultural diversity and increasing consumer sophistication,” said Balwinder Rolley, general manager for APAC at Eurofragance.
“Establishing a creative and technical hub here allows us to collaborate more closely with our partners, bringing concepts from idea to shelf faster and designing fragrances that reflect local tastes and preferences,” she added.
The Jakarta Creative Center follows the establishment of Eurofragance Indonesia in 2023 and complements other regional hubs, including Mumbai (2024) and Singapore (2016), reflecting the company’s continued focus on innovation and local market engagement in Asia Pacific.
Edy Chandra, country manager for Eurofragance Indonesia, shared, “Jakarta is a natural choice for our expansion. It’s where trends begin and evolve. Having a creative centre here allows us to immerse ourselves in Indonesian culture and craft scents that are not only high-quality but also truly meaningful to local consumers.”
