Singapore – In conjunction with Singapore’s 60th year of independence in 2025, Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), has unveiled the third edition of its annual National Day campaign. This year’s initiative, themed “Pushing Boundaries, Connecting Generations,” ties into the broader SG60 narrative of nation-building and aims to honour the pioneering spirit of Singaporeans by encouraging meaningful travel experiences.
To bring the campaign to life, Scoot collaborated with local content creators Charmaine Yee, Pamela Lee Shuhadah, and J Jaikishan, inviting them and their loved ones on trips to Ipoh, Perth, and Shantou—destinations chosen for their authentic cultural heritage and subtle charm. The curated journeys allowed participants to connect and bond over activities such as batik painting in Ipoh, sandboarding in Perth, and kueh making in Shantou.
“At Scoot, we’ve always believed that travel is more than just getting from one place to another. It’s also about forging connections, creating memories, and reflecting on the journeys that shape us. As a homegrown brand, this campaign celebrates the spirit of stepping out of one’s comfort zone, be it beyond borders or in our relationships with our loved ones. We hope that this campaign inspires more to make time for those who matter, reconnect with their loved ones through travel and forge treasured memories together,” said Agatha Yap, director of marketing, communications and loyalty at Scoot.
To mark the occasion, Scoot is also rolling out limited-time promotional fares between Singapore and 60 destinations. The special fares, with additional discounts for bookings made by groups of two or more, will be available for a 60-hour window from 6 to 8 August 2025 via Scoot’s website and mobile app.
In addition, KrisFlyer members will be eligible for 60% more bonus miles when booking Scoot flights between 1200hrs on 15 August and 1159hrs on 17 August 2025.
Further commemorating SG60, Scoot has partnered with LASALLE College of the Arts to release a limited-edition aircraft model. Designed with bold colours and motifs inspired by traditional Southeast Asian umbrellas, the model celebrates Singapore’s artistic diversity and highlights the intersection of art and travel. The collectible will be available for preorder and purchase onboard all Scoot flights beginning 8 August 2025.
